It needs to be a decent curve right enough, If this works in the pic below I can just get round the corners at the wood in the centre of the picture.

We demoed a pottinger before buying the JD, it was a bloody good mower, the only things that put us off were the
parts are pretty steep and also when ordering you need to spec what way youre front pto spins where as the deere you can spin the box on the mower, ours will probably never be changed but I know that a local outfit with an MF there front pto spins the opposite way from our deere and also a contractor had a JD with front pto and when they changed the tractor the new one turned up and spun the opposite way, lucklily he had a JD mower.
