mounted sprayer.

As relevant as any other place for this query.

Let's say a 12m sprayer with 800/1000l tank with hydraulic raise/lower booms.

What kind of lift requirement would be needed for this?

Or put it another way, do any members have a similar setup and what is the minimum they are getting away with (safely)?

Your 3600 will be too light and the dini will manage it fine

Dad used to spray here with the 272 with 800l hardi 12m hydraulic raise manual fold booms if that gives you an idea, it more than likely had the loader or else the weights on it alright, the marshal would know about the 1000l with the 15m boom, but manages it fairly ok with the weights, she can be slow to turn uphill until you get the first bit out of the tank

Perfect thanks - drew.

It was just an indication of what size of a tractor would be best on it really.

Well ive a 600 litre yes sprayer and the 265 manages it no bother at all  the same tractor often had over a ton of fertiliser on the back of her too but the steering was light  a 1000 litre one would be no bother to the landini nash

Your 265 should be able to handle more - the 3600 handles that as it is

Be a good while before the Landini will be the spraying tractor!

165 with 1000l hydraulic booms with about 50kg on front has pointed skyward on a not to steep a hill when went into a small dip was only about 800l at the time.

8ool sprayers were the norm here Allmans were no problem 12m manual then 12m hyd on a 4wd 390 without weights . The tecnoma was lot heavier plus the folding indepent sided booms added to the weight , 6x 45kg were required Mind you we never know what were landing into

have an 800l YES here 12m hyd fold and lift used to run it on a 2wd mf390 with no front weights usually was fine only light on front the odd time. on a slightly larger tractor now

Used to spray here with 1000 hardi hydraulic folding booms and height on a Fiat 60-90 she wasn't too bad after the first few runs of the field

Right lads and ladies, looking for some rough figures if anyone can help.

It seems reading brochures that a 800l Hard I is about 40kg heavier than a 600l version.

Does anyone know what weight a proper raising boom would add whether it be manual using a winch or indeed a hydraulic version?

This would be on a Hardi NK, don't think we could handle a bigger version!

Thanks.

I wouldn't think it would add much more than 30 to 40 kgs
