Ford/New Holland

Externally the cab is good won’t say excellent as when it was parked up the back of the shed mustn’t have been sealed as you see the mudguards have surface rust but no rot, it’s always been in since we had it. Internally it’s very good, all original including the seat, the only thing not original about the tractor is the headlights, dual power changed to a switch on the gear-lever and added a second assistor ram. What kind of money was that seller looking for.

That is a lovely tractor. I'm watching out for something like it at the moment. I'd take a look if it was in munster and the price wasn't pure bananas!

Nice 6610 here.

Any one going to the Ford association met up in Kilkenny. Are they trying to get a large number of 7810s there to celebrate 30 years of them ?. I'm thinking of going to it.

Had 2 tractors at it last year, was a great day out. Will be away this year, raging I will miss it. I would say there will be a good turnout of silver jubilees

Hoping to go up on the day, was a great few hours last year.

Mart should give plenty of room I would think

A few of my ones.

Ford 4600 Q cab has about 4000 hrs on it from new. Was an insurance write off in 1998 when we got it. I refreshed it for the second time in late 2016/early 2017.

Ford 4600 without a cab originally had a Fritzmeier cab. Picture of it here stuck. It wasn't really able for the pin harrow...

Ford 550 has been on the farm since 1992. Clock never worked, but it has done a lot of work. Was painted in 555 colours to make it look newer by an ESB contractor before we got it.

TS115 is here from new. 5500hrs. SLDP, no turbo.

Lovely tractors maidhc, had you any reason for taking the Fritzmeir cab off the 4600? It looks a nice tractor and the first place they tend to rot is on the mudguards and that one looks pretty good!

The cab was red rotten. Those mudguards were bought to fit on the q cab 4600 back in the late 90s. My father originally wanted to junk the q cab (it was strained after being overturned) and fit a Fritz, but sense prevailed.

I hate those fritzmeier cabs...

Any chance you might have the link to that. Neighbour of mine has a 7810 and might be interested.

Whats the Sanderson teleporter Maidhc? I presume it's Ford based too

That 4600 is a credit to you and your father, not a spot of rust on the cab :Thumbp2:

Sanderson has a 6610 engine, 550 transmission and back axle. The steering axle on this one is from a volvo bm, the original 550 one seems to have been changed at some point.

4600 mid refurb in 2017. The windscreen surround was challenging...
