Eamonn has 2 or 3 valmet 900/A's/4400 mf's and a few, at least 3 competion ploughs in the family. It wouldn't be unusual for 3 generations to be ploughing.I thought the lads had sent out their tractors and ploughs :scratchhead::Thumbp2:

Are you sure, I thought Johnny still used a 5000, but I haven't seen him ploughing for a few years. You forgot the 6610
I hate Ford 6600's and 6610's so probably have chosen to ignore the downgrade.6610 the weapon of choice for johnny with a good few yrs now
It would appear that you are bordering on the A1, Sharon. The soil around Kilbricken hse looks to be D2 . Poorly suitable for Tillage moderately to poorly suitable for pasture and meadow.

Pavt wheel on it nowHe got the 6600 with Ford safety cab when Eamonn got the first Valtra, the green 900 around 1997 ish....I think the 5000 was traded in with KOB at the time and I saw other in the past few years somewhere.
John has the 6610 close on ten years now I think and still handling the dual wheel too

I believe the family that have it now could buy half of Carlow with Celtic tiger development money. It must be coming up for sale if the neighbours are talking it down
If you are stuck for a place to lay your head you are welcome to stay here, but it is not a B&B.Bit late I know lads but just wondering if anyone knows of accommodation available on the Tuesday night anywhere near the site??
Fair play to you,and thanks for the offer. If you are stuck for a place to lay your head you are welcome to stay here, but it is not a B&B.
I have an empty house next door, been a couple of months since it was used, in general clean but not up to modern standards. I can send you a few pics if you are interested.Fair play to you,and thanks for the offer.
I am bringing the missus and 2 lads though so that might be a bit much for the couch to bear
Just a thought that entered my head for anyone using the Brown Route in a highish vehicle (https://www.npa.ie/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Traffic-Management-Plan-2019-FINAL.pdf Page 3) there's a low bridge at 52°44'46.2"N 6°56'51.2"W (52.746170, -6.947550) which is 3.68m. The planners didn't think to put that in their plan.
