Deutz Tractors

The brakes got hot yes. But if the crap was kept off them they were fine. Also a lot of those old deutz were designed with air brakes in mind. They are optional in all the parts books back to dx 90. Problem was no one had brakes in trailers 40 years ago not on agricultural ones anyway. We used to plumb the brake hose on to one of the spools and it was a help on steep hills.

Surely better brakes when compared to rebuilding the whole back end of a JD/Mf after filings have gone through the system?

A chaff guard of some sort would have been no harm though.

I'm all most certain the agroprima range had them enclosed.

Powermatic would be a dual power of sorts. She's a lovely one, did you ring for a price?
Cheers, Only saw it earlier today. Drove a 6.30 before which was a fine tractor in so many ways but lacked the splitter badly as it didn t hold on well on hills. Only thinking yet but certainly wouldn't rule 1 out..
