That is one of my favourits sights in farming. It has just the right balance of ingredients... heavy metal, greenery, muck, nostalgia and a hint of hardship
A whole lot less hardship than it used to be, auto reset plough, reversible rail, one drive chain, no steel beet chains,no gearboxes, and about 1000 acres less wear and tare. The man doesn't know himself.
 
Bit wet round here. Luckily the home farm is about 3 miles away on higher ground but it's still like shite. No WW planted and it's debatable how much of the WB is going to survive. Been in near a month and only about 75% through.

Just a bit. There was more there after the rain 3 weeks ago but didn't get chance to go film it. That's probably the 3rd time this autumn that grounds been under water.

Just watched all of that, that building ain't half long on the edge of the trading estate, you don't realise driving by it!! Who's using it?
 
was a cattle water trough for many years, what would it originally of been made for ?
