Livestock Weighing Scales(Qualify for BEEP & TAMS)
Have a beams and digital set from allied weighing,cost about £350 5 or more years since been no trouble apart from battery died.

Same as mine,worked fine but after 7 years damp ruined the weigh head,my own fault should have covered it up when outside.
 
Done that here . But made a full crate not just a base unit . Planning on changing it now though . Have it setup with the headgate in it . But plan is to move it back the chute so the headgate is not part of it anymore . Hard on the weighcell`s having the 2 together
Anyone buy just the loadcells and clock an make own platform to weigh on seams cheap option?

Thanks. Any pic of platform set up. Would like to set up own but hard to justify €1400 an don’t really need anything to make up €2k grant eligible. Limerick link I think €650 odd incl for bars an clock.

Here you go lad . It’s been lengthened by about a1ft as before cattle had to put there head through the gate to be fully on it . Longer you make it the better . Cattle are more likely to want to stand up on it / stay standing on it .
