A few pics of the 6600 as requested Mike. She aint too pretty looking, nearly 35 years of sea air have taken their toll. She will be put right this year after the harvest though.

Ahh the famous 6600 :thumbup1: Thanks Skimmer. She's not too bad, have seen and driven worse. Looks fairly tidy in fairness. The front section of the cab on our 4600 looks worse from the sea air :(

Fairly rough cosmetically, but like new mechanically. I have some videos of the tw and 8630 here, how do i put them up?

Replacing pivot pin on TW 25. What a bugger to get out. Pin was so wore that bit of it had blocked the grease passage. Luckily the casting was undamaged. Would not have been long before it had started to wear though.:scared:

Should see our 4600 :crying:. :sweatdrop:
Whats the plan for it, complete cosmetic overhall ya?

Yeah, not a weep of oil out of her anywhere, so its really the cab, wheels and bonnets that need the attention. Very hard to do without a loader tractor though. Thats why we are on the lookout for a matbro.

Yep, nash said she was as tight as a drum alright :thumbup1: I know what you mean. They are the most used machine on most farms. So hard then to take them out of their roles to do them up.

Skimmer, get young Josh do it for you or if you want burn them on a disc or similar and I'd happily put them up for you.

I'm glad to see I didn't ruin the 6600 anyway and she is in one piece today  I had to laugh yesterday we were talking about the shuttle on the 600 series and how easy it was to slot in and out and then when I brought her for a spin what did I do only grate her into gear reserving her in :blushing:

Yep that 6600 is as tight as could be especially for a loader tractor.

Are the photos of the 8630 from where you got her in the UK? Don't look like your place anyway unless you went into CS's

Wont have been the first time she has been grated, although its usually at the end of a long days loading:laugh:
Suprised you dont recognise where the 8630's pics were taken, you recommended a tr 200 to me from them very recently:lol:

I must admit I have never been in his yard.

Skimmer's 4100.

Hadn't realised you have bought the 4110 DINAS

Its for sale with a dealer, I know his buying price and bid him £1600 profit the same day - I was £2000 short of his idea of what its worth !!! Still for sale a month later.

Looking at the vast number of classic tractors for sale at unrealistic prices in tractor mags and the lower prices being paid in recent "vintage" auctions, I am hanging fire until people realise what stuff is really worth in todays financial climate and prices return to true values.

BTW - anyone want to give me £10,000 for my immaculate original condition Super Major?:001_rolleyes:
