Your top 5 classic tractors...

You've just got Perkinsitis, don't know what a real engine should sound like

Nothing sounds as good as a perkins :thumbup2:
God the D30 an awful sounding yoke
Sowed 7 acres of grasseeds one sunday with it a long day

valmet 8400
384 leyland with 6/98 engine
marshall 802
massey 399
massey 3125

possibly a dx6.50 inplace of 3125

D30 is only a 2 cylinder, there's a fair pop off it alright. D50 is a 3 cylinder, different baby altogether

Still a horible looking yoke !
Why not get yourself something like a masseyharris pony or even a fahr tractor !

A D50 is beautiful. A pony looks like, well, a pony. A fahr would be grand alright, but they are rare enough

Oh I have a list of Fergusons to get myself too when the 6 numbers come up. One of the great regrets I have is leaving a 100% original TVO gold belly 35 behind me about ten years ago for the sake of 300 quid. I never saw one as good as it before or since.
