Some of you lads are looking at weather for harvesting over the next few days. I don't think it's going to be as bad as has been talked about. Certainly, most of the eastern half of the country is going to stay fairly dry.
Tomorrow rain will affect coastal counties on the west and move a little inland.
Wednesday will be reasonable enough with just the chance of an isolated shower.
Thursday is going to see more of a chance of showers hitting the east of the country. But you need to look at the key at the bottom of the chart to see that the amount iof rainfall on thursday will be minimal. It will be isolated showers at worst.
Signs of heavier rain crossing the country on friday but its too far away to be accurate yet. It could change a lot by then.
Also, there are some hints of of a ridge of high pressure beyond 7 days from now. Only hints - a lot can happen to push that ridge away from us. But, as I mentioned in previous weather posts, our weather has a tendency to repeat itself in cycles (2018, 2006, etc). The one repeat weather event that we all have memories of is good weather when children goes back to school. It doesn't happen by accident, it happens because weather repeats itself - hopefully this is one of those years where we might see a dry spell in early september.
