Badly I'd imagine! That wasn't the Axial Flow's best trait!!

Depends on the rotor setup. If its got the AFX rotor in it, introduced in 2003, then it would go in the wet stuff longer than a walker machine. Thing to remember is that an AF relies on centrifugal force to seperate the grain, so if its crazy wet, stuff will get carried off the back of the rotor. In a previous life i cut oats in october in Aberdeen at 25% and had losses of less than 3%, which no-one could believe. Running an Axial flow is completely different to a walker machine. Very few similarities.
 
Would that not be very strong money for what it is, a low output combine?
It'd be dear alright, there might be some hope of getting near that money for it if he fitted a 17 ft head to it, should be well able for it.
