Shed security

It still comes back to the old "a lock will only stop an honest man"
It will also stop an opportunistic thief and slow down a more determined one, but to have any chance of stopping a very determined intruder, it woud want to be like fort knox.

I saw your door at the Teagasc day, some job, well thought out, I’d say you spent a few nights thinking about that design.
I have nylock nuts on all the sheeting bolts to prevent opening them from outside.
Also UPS powering the cameras if they manage to switch off the power.
How far does one go?

The nylocks are a nice simple idea alright, I like it.

Unfortunately before they had battery drills they had billhooks, which will slice through tin, especially this modern thin stuff like it's not there  hence the idea of the weld mesh inside

Have a fairly typical stock farm here along a regional road. Security would be lax to say the least.
Have had a few robberies over the years. Lost a quad , 4 chainsaws various electric tools/equipment.
Best deterrent of all, as far as I can see is a dog.
Doesn't have to be massive, anything that barks and make a nuisance of himself.
Doesn't take much to more them on.

All due respect. But the prize was a biiit more tempting than a welder and a few wrenches!:lol:
There is that. Point being if someone wants in bad enough you’ll be hard pressed to stop them.
