That tractor was up for sale 12 months ago or more for similar money, same photos and all.
It looks like a yoke which has seen a visit from a spray gun too :deyective:
Maybe I'm over suspicious.

With the outside of the rims painted inside not touched over spray from the door on the step , closer inspection might reveal a few more things. It looks like a yoke which has seen a visit from a spray gun too :deyective:

I thought the money was small on this, presumably as it is a Dynashift.

Random idle question, but whats the difference between a 5470 and a 6470 of the same era? is it just a lower spec level? they're both 3000 series evolutions arent they?
Backends of 5400 and 6400 series are a good bit differentThe 6400 succeeded the 6200 which replaced the 6100,which replaced the 3000s.
The 5400 succeeded the 42/4300 series which replaced the 300s.
Same Gima back end in 54 and 64s. Apart from the dyna 4/6 option, there's little difference in them. Bit pointless really,I'd have thought....
A friend had a 5470 with a 966 loader on which is a big lump of a loader and it didn't look out of place. Seemed a lot bigger type tractor than a 4270.Random idle question, but whats the difference between a 5470 and a 6470 of the same era? is it just a lower spec level? they're both 3000 series evolutions arent they?
Just realised, I'm thinking it's the 54 and 6200 series have the same back ends! Thanks Bcl.Backends of 5400 and 6400 series are a good bit different
Same trumpet in 6270 !! Speaking from experience but I thought the backend was different. 6280/90 is different. I don’t think 54 had closed centre at least earlier ones?Just realised, I'm thinking it's the 54 and 6200 series have the same back ends! Thanks Bcl.
The 5480’s and 5475’s definitely could be got with ccls remember pricing both in ‘11.
I thought the 64 backend was heavier than a 54 is there much difference in in lift capacity?
Are the brakes different a lot of 6480’s wud be 50k at least transport spec ones.
5475’s wud be 40k.
here’s a 5480 with ccls

Still has the original seat anyway

my neighbours father had 3 699s at one stage which were traded in over the years, the 3 sons have bought them all back and have already done one of them and are in the process of doing the othersHad a 699 like that. Gearbox was ok for the time, rust a big issue and could have done with 4wd as it would slip on a dung pat
Looks like as good as they http://www.rodneycowlemachinery.co.uk/images/t1690a.jpgget,
