The few that have gone slatted near me are pleased with them. One has said he will never plough with boards again. On the subject of ploughs, this is what we picked up in the south east. Still on original slats. 2009 plough. Has approx 1800 acres ploughed.
We need to get a couple of brackets to put a press arm on it.
We’ll see how we get on with slats, we’ve factored in the cost to convert to 28’s if necessary.

Thanks G. It seems a very honest plough. I know it’s background which is always reassuring.Lovely plough, well may it wear
Yep, she’ll sit and wait. I really dislike ploughing without the press. So are really going to plough with the old plough while you await a press arm for the new ???

That looks a fine match for the tractor, used a 5 furrow vari width behind a TM 120 and she had no bother with it at 16", is it not customary to plough with the loader on in the south east, @humungus will clarify I'm sure..........The loader on adds a touch of taste.

it must be contagious, now cork will spread it round the rebel county and their big yields will be no more :tdown:That looks a fine match for the tractor, used a 5 furrow vari width behind a TM 120 and she had no bother with it at 16", is it not customary to plough with the loader on in the south east, @humungus will clarify I'm sure..........

Have an hour or two there and then may wait a few days for the last field which needs a few days more to soak.
@nashmach ploughs with the loader on, it's all the trend
You ploughing in 1 direction only or do you do lands?
A Trendsetter, that would be a first for me. Most should run the other way
Lovely looking plough Cork, 16in I assume? I'll offer you 2k for the 4f
One way, mostly small fields here so no big deal. Not Ploughing huge acres or anything and usually Ploughing is well finished before sowing (unlike this year).
I ploughed 9 acres last Sunday in two fields, one field fully done with plenty of headlands and squaring up. Not an early start, stopped for dinner, tea and to move cattle and finished up at 9.30. With no headlands, an early start and so on, I'm sure 12 acres is achievable.
That man could easily buy a couple of new ploughs rather than dealing with a second hand one from a dodgy Cork fella.Ara go on sell it to him think of the pages , no weeks, no months,of fun we could have helping Nash buy a tractor to pull it
my brother has a very nice packomat that he might part withYep, she’ll sit and wait. I really dislike ploughing without the press.
Thanks! I remember seeing one in your posts. To be honest, we’d rather stay with a trailed press.my brother has a very nice packomat that he might part with
