Seen for sale...

Whats the story with this crowd:
Their prices on PTO shafts look cheap.
Too cheap?

Saw it on an add in Facebook
We got one of those wide angle shafts of I think dh farm machinery, was grand until a slight incident of driving off with it and the pipes still connected.. I think the real issue came from standing on the breaks, the shaft ended up bent and it bent and broke the ball on the wide angle:no::no:

but other than that the shaft seemed to be good enough, the cover is a slight bit of a pain to remove when cutting the shaft but the access was good enough and I’d actually take it over the comer type which are pure dirt imo

temptation to trade the 7810

Il take a look here. I read a post on Facebook that a lad made his own gps on a tablet using this software. Is it just a case of downloading d software or is there a lot to do

id say that take a bit of working out to get it somewhat accurate. be limited in features like with isobus controls and the like (dont know much about isobus but im assuming gps is tied into it). probably not for the faint of heart, i like the idea though. if building it yourself becomes more popular, maybe diy kits can become a thing in the future

It would be interesting to do but i know nothing about programs

as I understand it with agopengps you need a pc and a receiver and that's it for guidance.

I tried out a similar tool a few years back with a cheap receiver and it was about a metre off per pass, but from looking at the ardusimple site mentioned above time has moved on and you can get an RTK receiver for a couple of hundred euro.

I have a windows tablet here that's not much use for anything else, I might try it out with my basic receiver for a play.

the forum says my last post was 27 minutes ago.......

in that time I found and booted up the tablet pc, downloaded and installed agopengps and downloaded and installed an app which made my phone into a bluetooth receiver then went for a wander around the lawn.

i watched two of this guys videos, his third one looks to be about the ardusimple antenna.

I work in IT and play with shit for a living and I've done some homework on this in the past (somewhere on this site are pics of a handheld computer taped onto the 4600) but even so, with a few hours work anyone should be able to get this up and running.

I wonder if it would work on an Android device. Have an old shitty tablet nearing the end of its life. Would love to know and give it a go myself

I looked into it before, and it needs tablets with a certain type software, what version it needs I can not remember at the moment, but I recall it can’t just work on any type of android tablet

U would understand it better than me so. Id like to get a gps for d farm here but i cant justify almost €1000 that most want for d little bit it would be used

This would work for me as I have access to cheap hardware from the weee pile at work, but I reckon if you've to spend more than a few hundred on a diy solution you're as well off just buying something proper second hand.
