case cvx's

Hi, don’t normally drive my cvx 1190 without a trailer but noticed this morning the right hand wheel as sitting in tractor doesn’t brake hardly at all. Is this adjustable? I noticed this after also realising cruise not deactivated when touching brakes or 4wd coming on when touching brakes. Sure these are unrelated as the later must be electrical related?sorry if already covered but I couldn’t find answers....

Anyone know where i could get a rear light lense for a cvx 195
Have not rung the dealers yet but will get a price off them

There is a adjusting nut under the cover on top of the axle, is the pedal spongy like low on fluid? The right hand pedal does the trailer brake valve and the seal on the valve can leak fluid internally. I take it you noticed this when using the pedals independently?? The switch on the pedals de-activate cruise and put the 4wd in, do the brake lights work?

Had one for the steyr a few years back, think it was £40 ish then off dealer! There maybe other places to get them now though!

Hello Win
I noticed when having to stop quickly that only rear left seemed to be do anything, pedals locked together. Checked afterwards by using independently.
Will have to check if brake lights are working, is it the sensor between the pedals the operates 4wd/cruise? I quickly checked and wiggled wires ect...
Are you talking about short ball joint lever under plastic cover operated by shaft that runs through top from hand brake assembly?
Looked at that but didn’t want to adjust until knew how it changed things?
Now thinking about it also I moved trailer with air brakes around yesterday and air brakes didn’t seem to blow off after releasing brakes as before but I thought I was imagining it as other brake issues

Yep the sensor is between the pedals, magnetic type switch that in turn works a relay on the board under the dash.
The adjuster is under the cover that covers the slave cylinder not the ball joint as that's for the hand brake. The bolt is facing vertical as it goes down into the trumpet housing, it'll be obvious with the cover off. Quite likely be air in the right side causing it, not sure on what activates air brake valve as I haven't got air here, maybe off the right side as well.

Brake lights also not working

Is it possible to get the CVX transmission parts directly off ZF in the UK? And before @Agri Power reaches for the keyboard this is for a Deutz 7250 which shares the same transmission. And do any of the UK members know of anyone who would undertake a repair? SDF UK wants £18k for a new box apparently.

Who are the lads in this month's classic tractor that are specialising in transmissions?
