Mechanic was telling me a tractor landed at a local dealer without trailer brakes (twas a 200hp tractor)
Seemed the dealer had forgotten to tick trailer breaks in the spec list
Another landed with no work lights at all... same thing.

Is it possible that a box was not ticked!!?

I dunno. You'd think trailer brakes would be standard...

I've heard of a massey delivered to a dealer with no hitch because they missed the box!
The steel pipework for load sensing hydraulics routed to the back of the tractor is a €100 euro option when ordering, the pipes are €800 to buy afterwards and they still have to be fitted

If you ticked the 2wd box when ordering a T6 180 I would imagine the dealer would get a phone saying, are you sure you want this tractor in 2wd?

Then the lads on the T6 production line have to try and rob a front axle from the T4 line.

Of course. Perhaps the customer asked for a 60hp 2wd. But dealer put a 1 in front of the 60!

Yes. There's a dealer there that provided good service over the years.

Demand for big 2wd tractors in the UK, even new, there is a TS115A in the SW of england that has wore out 3 diet feeders, i believe its an 06 with 29k hours on it, never does anything other than feed 700 cows a day and followers/beef that go along with that.

There would be a fair amount of year round TMR.

In the same area there are people buying new tractors to work yard scrapers.
