Think we discussed that one already a while back. It's well painted anyway.....
I'd prefer the one in jf's photo to be honest!
Same here tbh.

How cool is this.?
What kind of money would this make do ye think?
Isn't that the hi vis cab for loader work too?
I'd imagine it would be close to 4wd money to be honest.
Are you trying to outdo jf850, mf240

Would that tractor have had a loader on it or what's the point of the visio roof.
Just day dreaming Nash.
You could trade the 240 in!!!
How very dare you!!!
2wd still has its place I would sayWonder how long will it be before a 2wd tractor is a thing of the past?
In terms of sales, it must be around 1% of the market now if even that and mainly local authorities.
Reason I ask, I see Dublin City Council have a nice Landini Powerfarm 2wd pottering about here today.
And another unusual one:

No doubt 2wd still has its place around some farms, including my own, for the time being. But if I was in a position to upgrade in the morning, there's only one way I'd be going. Heard a man saying a few months back "Sure isn't it better to have it, than to to be looking for it" Always stuck with me since!
2wd is great on certain jobs rollin flat field, fert spinner,2WD here too and we manage as we don't do a massive pile of tractor work. Your saying reminded me of one of the lads when we where in school after they bought another tractor - a 2WD ford " Sure aren't you lucky to have two wheels spinning under ya not to mind four"
View attachment 35758 my favourite 2wd tractor will always be a ford 9600 2wd that a neighbouring farm used to have. A big lump of a tillage tractor, american looking. Had solid rear wheels just like this one.
There used to be a few Ford 8100's 2wd around too hooked up to Lee silage trailers.
yes Nash, the cab was actually the same as this one View attachment 35767
They did look the business though especially that one that @CORK has pictured in 4wd with oversize rubber, drove one briefly in the late 70's, it seemed good at the time after getting off a 5000.The father-in-law bought an 8600 new to drive a double chop, said it was the worst tractor he ever had in his life, and he had a good few.

What trouble did he have with it TC?
And the brand he's with now isn't much betterThe father-in-law bought an 8600 new to drive a double chop, said it was the worst tractor he ever had in his life, and he had a good few.
