Thanks lads ,no the baler isn't mine belongs to a local contractor .
We reroofed two of the cow sheds and the calving shed during the year as they were letting in as much as they were keeping out !
The new side is for pre calving cows during the peak and will prob train the heifer calves to the trailed feeder in it after .
Yes it was a busy year here alright

The outdoor covered feed bunker is something we could do with, have three bays outside and hate seeing feed being rained on.

Same here have 7 bays outside here for the cows but avoid using during really wet weather ( they have 10 bays under cover feeding )

Didn't spend anything on the yard in ten years so it was about time for some fixing and upgrading . Your right a bit of comfort makes the job much easier
