Alternitive enterprise, growing Poppies

He has started the harvest this evening, I will try to get better pics over the next few days.

The spring sown cornflowers are beginning to flower, but charlock and poppies are very bad.

@gone What happens with the poppies and cornflowers etc. ?

They are combined, either by Design by Nature @wildflowers.ie, he has a small combine, or if he can't get to it we just go in with Deutz Fahr.
He then dries it and has a gravity separator to get the different seeds cleaned and separated from each other.
He sells wild flower mixes for gardens, councils tidy towns groups etc.
 
Not sure what brand.
It is a very basic combine, a small drum and small primary sieve and straw walker, no secondary cleaning and unloading is manual.

It's a Hege, they used to make trials equipment. Bought out by another company now I think. The little dresser that I use for treating trial seed is a Hege. Good german quality.

It looks like a trials combine or one for cutting small plots of very early generation multiplication seed.
