bloody rain

we haven't started yet, it's just all the guys we cut for will want to start soon as it's dry now, and we have to get ours in first which will take four days, gonna be tight for time. bout 1000 acres to cut this time id say between ourselves and the rest.

Hopefully you will get some nice windows for cutting, june is normally nice :thumbup1:

Weather is not looking too bad over the next 2 days. Dad talking about knocking it down. Has been good today and yesterday - Met Eireann :001_rolleyes::001_rolleyes:

Not too bad in the south, mowed about 6 acres of paddocks today, need them back in grazing.
 
Wilting for long, Larry? Guess down there you are in full brunt of any possible showers. :crying:

Pick up thursday, just need the area back in grazing. Would need better weather to do main silage. What ever about rain, its the cold wind we could do without, put a damper on growth, today was bad tho.
 
I'm looking at a few strong paddocks since last friday i should just have went out and cut them.

yes in france hour east of Le Mans. neighbour yesterday cut 15 ac field for hay and set fire to it three times baled it today and got 12 round bales last year he got 50
Weve had only 18 mm rain since 15th february
 
Nice drop here this evening but not a lot.

Strong breeze here today means all the good the small bit of rain we had will all be gone by the afternoon.

Batten down the hatches for tomorrow :scared:
