Have a less sophisticated one than that and love it. Mine will hold a bit more than that one too. It's great you load it up and then chop chop chop down through the pile. if you have help on hand u can move the stand around and have them picking up what you cut. get through some amount of timber that would otherwise have gone on the burn pile probably.

Is this the right Tommy ? https://www.yelp.ie/biz/tommy-shannon-scrap-dealers-cavan
If so I'll give him a ring & see if he supplies anyone local, if not I'll probably go for one of the painted versions.

I'm looking for recommendations on which chainsaw to buy for knocking and ringing large trees in or around 5-6 feet diameter.

Stihl 880 ,I saw a tree removal contractor using one recently with a 32" bar. A beast of a thing.

Either the 880 mentioned or a huskqvarna 120 are the only choice really I think.
Hard got s/h too and be cautious if you do find one.if your trees are that big you want a 48" bar.
Cutting stuff that size is tough work

It has to be about fifty years ago. I think it was a Homelite owned by a neighbour.
