The tillage radish, fodder rape, leafy turnip and phacelia mix. Planted 7th august. Looks alright. Going to be forced into leaving in calf heifers into it next week for a week as new housing job is not finished yet, I'll leave them wonder 22 acres of it so they should only nibble at it and do little harm with a grass field lie back
 
Not a hope, I don't have the lingo to go with the photos so I'll only make a show of myself-when I tell them I'm going to graze it and plough it down!!!!
If your going in with a cereal, that would be perfect for direct drilling, especially with a disk
 
it sure is, moore, john deere, crosslot, weaving, duncan have one as well, horsch and sumo. theres probably others.
 
What size is the field? You could do a half and half.
22 acres for spring barley. It's due to get either slurry or dung so compaction with tanks etc may be an issue. It got 2k gallons the day after sowing the cover crop so it looks like it stood to it
