Creating a permanent pasture

We're putting a few acres from forestry to agroforestry, their will be rows of trees in the field so tilling for reseeds in the future isnt really going to be a runner.

Wondering what sort of seed mix I should be going for, on the basis that it will be a hell of a long time before it's reseeded again. persistence and a tolerance for moisture would be more important than yield.

Thanks lads. the horsey one looks like it might take the most abuse.

@CORK who sells your stuff between south tipp and Bandon? Dairygold by any chance?

Hi John

Any of the merchants should be able to get the Diamond Equine mix. We deal with more or less every merchant so while they probably won’t have it in as standard stock (it wouldn’t be a big volume product) they should be able to get it into stock within a couple of days.

Or they can ring in the order to us and you can collect it from our premises in Carrigtwohill.

John
