How do you keep the crows away from the apple trees ?

Crows feasting on my mothers

Simple-just grow a few acres of barley. Crows won't even look at your apples then!
Sorry, couldn't resist! Never had a crow or bird near the trees yet-they're probably afraid of all the wasps there...
May get out a few jam jars for them.

Best time to grow some fruit trees is on spring or November it goes well with the weather and it also great time plant other fruit trees not only apples pruning is hard it takes all the sap making the branches bigger. Bigger branches don’t bear apples it’s useless hopefully this year is a full grown harvesting.
