Not at all John. Sorry it took so long to get them up. I have them on a disc as well and next time in and around your neck of the woods I will drop them off to you.

Just wondered if anyone made it to our Meath open evening this week? we were delighted with the turnout. There must have been almost 300 attendees and we were very lucky with the weather.

Just a reminder of our Cork open evening this coming Thursday. Kicking off in Shanagarry at 3pm. All will be fed too!

Been preparing the site today and I'm very happy with how the crops are looking. The winter wheat doesn't want to see a storm.....

Was over in Bellewstown the other evening. Was a great evening, certainly blessed with the weather. Was a very compact event this year with all the plots so close together and very well presented too.
Nice to see the new winter wheats Hadn't seen Torp, Rockerfella or Costello before. While rockerfella looked the best to me the straw height would be a little un nerving.
Will come back to it in a few weeks but after 3yrs with sensation with it being discontinued this year I'm after a new Wosr. Extrovert seemed the favourite the other evening.
Oh and well done on the wb talk you're passionate on your subject anyway.
...and the grub was top class too.

Will you grow torp next year @CoNaMi ? Would be a risky variety to have a lot of in a bad year kph wise. First year with it here so time will tell.

Was there on Wednesday evening. Very interesting well run evening. Was late in so missed @CORK at the W B.

On my way up to the wheat plots I was talkin to a grower who said his Torp was easily his cleanest variety this year and gave me great hope. He'd be a guy who would weigh up all the pros and cons (literally) so am interested to see how he gets on. To be honest I wasn't as excited when I actually seen it although I know looking pretty ain't everything.
Will probably try a ton just to see next year.

Well worth the trip lads, I was there today, fantastically set up, plots very well taught out and attention to detail is a credit to john. Highly recommended and keep up the good work. It's great to see all types of cereals and osr with the same treatment of each crop on the same day and compare and contrast them all. Thanks john.

Just to let you all know that Goldcrop will be holding two open events for growers where the latest varieties of cereals, beans and winter oilseed rape can be viewed and discussed.

Dunleer, Co. Louth. 29th June.
Shanagarry, Co. Cork. 6th July.

Exact times etc will be in the farming press.

All are very welcome.

Just a reminder of the upcoming Goldcrop open days folks. Hopefully the sun will be shining.

One joint Grower/Trade event in Dunleer including info on Tillage TAMS. June 29th.

Cork will be Trade on the 5th and Growers on the 6th July.

As usual, lots of variety and crop discussion, a bit of a social event before harvest and nobody should go home hungry.
