You surely came home with a zetor?!

I have a few models , mainly Universal Hobbies , but the last purchase was a Britain's Jcb 3C.
I wavered on buying one of the Zeroes, but hopefully , if I wait they may bring out either a 12145 or 8145 , both of which I have.
Otherwise , I may buy a real 8011 and then buy the model to match. Stranger things have happened. :rolleyes2:

He's not into buying new but the lad with the 3 Fusions might part with a lightly used one worth the money.

That was a fine display.

Has Tommy Fennelly , of Mad For Models given up that side of things ? He wasn't present . Rumour has it that he has gone back to carpentry.

I haven't seen him about but the shop appears to be still open, last time I was talking to him he said some of the shows weren't worth the hassle of loading all the stuff and setting up the display especially for a one day event so maybe he gave it a miss. https://madformodels.ie/

i hope you notified the fire service before you lit that fire

2 hard working County council operatives passed in their pick up , just as it got going nicely ,
They were knocking off , and it was Friday.
You would be lost if you happened to pass by that field.

Havent you to burn such stuff before the end of February , due to birdys nesting ?

As I understand it you can burn stuff that is already cut but cannot cut and burn after 28 February but should notify the fire services, some other detail if you are within a certain distance of forestry but I'm not arsed to look it up.

I had a lad in doing this , and 2 other bits this week . The materials I bought in the local FRS . Nearly fainted when I was told the size of the cheque they needed.

Nice job you have there! I remember a neighbour once saying of another who had done a job like that "jasus if I went in and took every second stake he would hardly miss em "

Are you getting into sheep ?

Maybe I am keeping them out ?

Always 60 odd ewes here until 08 , enough of hardship so got rid then. Lot of foot trouble too. Probably more more money out of sheep than cattle now ?
That ditch had got into the 4 th width.of the flail , so when the digger breasted it , there wasn't any fence left. Anywhere I saw a fence like that , I always thought it looked the job . I often graze the afrtergrass there with bucket fed calves , so I don’t know would a strand of high tensile leccy wire be good enough ?
@dstig , I left stake spacing etc in the hands of the lad doing it . I’m very happy with it. If I was doing it myself , I might use half the stakes .:rolleyes2:

Easy spend money on fencing, I have over €1000 spent on stakes alone this spring, a lot of whats there seems to be coming to the end of it's life so putting in PDM strainers and octoposts in between and that's just a maintenance job, still have some posts that were original tantalised that must be getting on for 40 years but the offerings of the past 20 years are rubbish by comparison, sheep wire needs maintenance or every kind of sucker will grow up through it.

Feel your pain, at similar here as well.

We'll see how the latest batch go, there's some here up 25 years and we pulled a few last September and as good as new. They don't make them like that anymore

The Birr and District Stages rally passed the bottom of our road today , twice already , another stage to go still. Something like 143 cars . I didn't realise that there were that many Ford Escort Mk 2 s. Next most.popular were Honda Civics.
