massey combine

our neighbour has one, when it goes it is ok but its a pig of a thing to work on.to replace a worn belt they had to take half the side of the combine off.

Just dont do it. I had one, wrote it off when a cross auger popped out the side, it ate the electrics and hydraulics wrapped them all into a big ball. Remember standing on top of it to call Norwich Union, happy day when I drove it onto the scrappys low loader.

Just seen a 1989 MF34 in the FW for £21000 having worked on on an MF 29 briefly I wouldn't give 10% of that. Soft is the word that springs to mind. It had a cascade separator type system which used to cause no end of grief and much skinned knuckles. I see it at a Claas dealers methinks he has paid over the odds for it.

Cheers BB
