Rolling after seeding

Have a field ready for seeding tomorrow, what’s the best thing to do after putting the seed on? Just roll? Or would it need to be harrowed in?

Direct drilled grass seed into barley stubble the other day (Tuesday so 4 days now)
Part of it got rolled but not all, rained at some stage ever since, and it definitely needs rolling with the stones that were brought up.

Question is. At what stage is it too late to roll?
Is there a stage in germination where I'd do too much damage? And are better off just leaving it untill actively growing and strong, or even until next spring?

Or just wait until nice and dry and crack on?

I'm not overly worried about seed to soil contact, as the drill moves enough soil imo
