From our perspective, 50 gallons isn't going to make a lot of difference, but for the Tams Grant, the allowed spend is based on the litre capacity of the tanker. So for example if I have applied for a 2000g tanker or 9100 litres and the tanker arrives and it's only 8100 litres because of the recess and I wasn't aware of that, then I will only be allowed the costings for the 8100 litres. I could end up having to pay €1000 extra along with the grant.
It's funny, department max costings are very close to actual tanker costings - especially when you are galvanising a tanker.
