How high roughly Daniel?
I stripped the most advanced field this evening about 10 days off (I hope).
Never taught of puttInt a measure to it. But maybe 15inches. Might actually check tomorrow if I am around

Could it be wind more so than the spray? My crops seem to have a bit of scorch since last fungicide....helix, modem and combitop. Noticed a neighbours the same.
Proline can be hot and the spiroxamine in the helix is a morpholine and they can be hot also, I had proline and amistar on mine you would know where I doubled alsoMy crops seem to have a bit of scorch since last fungicide....helix, modem and combitop. Noticed a neighbours the same.
You’d be fine in the evening, I’m managing to do our bit in evenings over the past few weeks.Brought my late sown barley up to 90 units of K last week before rain. As of now it has also 45 units of P and 67 units of N also. It looks a bit poor in spots still. I want to apply 5kg of combitop and aphicide, no rain in sight, wonder would it be safe to go out one evening and spray it in the cool? Or would ye leave it till rain. It got a good shot of rain last weekend.
Is it just from experience you’ve learned what’s hot and what’s not??Proline can be hot and the spiroxamine in the helix is a morpholine and they can be hot also, I had proline and amistar on mine you would know where I doubled also
You could say that yea, I’ve burned a few things alright, trial and error. Is it just from experience you’ve learned what’s hot and what’s not??
Is there any need for an aphidicide?Brought my late sown barley up to 90 units of K last week before rain. As of now it has also 45 units of P and 67 units of N also. - Spring barley is looking savage at the moment, if the weather comes right it will yield. View attachment 78711 View attachment 78710
Mine is really thick like yours and is motoring nicely with the regular rain down south every 10 days or so. My worry is will it stay standing?

It was late sown barley so I thought it might be no harm to do it there are aphids on it.Is there any need for an aphidicide?
The temperatures will be making the plants go through their stages quickly. Second last leaf half way out here now and flag leaf will be appearing quickly. The last few photos above just goes to show how much we are at mercy to the weather that comes our way.
Awns making an appearance on the most advanced barley here this evening. End of March sown and I'm not alone in this area.
Looking very nice.View attachment 78789
Gangway sown March 24th, very short and like myself, badly in need of a drink!
