Not one bit. Its a 110kv line from arva to ballyshannon. There's fibre optic cable on one of the lines too. Huge compensation from them too - not. €35 per set of poles per year
That sounds better money than here, we get €127 in total for the massive steel pylons regardless of how many are on your land. We have 4 steel pylons, 15 three phase poles and 12 telecom poles here and €127 to show for it all....

Has this changed lately? I thought it was a per pylon basis, two and a half of them here :rolleyes2:

Similar to here but sure the parents get a lot more in way leaves than that

Maybe have a word with a friendly land agent...

Yes they were bulled to shorthorn last year, have changed to Charolais this year tho
Coming to the end of the bdgp scheme, we sold off our Shorthorn bull a few weeks ago too. Everything to the CH this year. The Sh did us no harm. We have some lovely breeding heifers off him.

God help them . 25 cwt at least.
That is some bull.

He could have done with a visit from the hoof trimmer , especially with the weight he is carrying . Just in case he goes lame during the campaign .
He's 5 years old. Got the toe done, some of his offspring have a tendency for long toenails. Hopefully he'll spend a good bit of time on his back legs, he's a compact buller but I suppose that's up to the cows.

Very interesting, it doesn't mention standard compensation per pylon or per the lot of them though. Because we are receiving €127 annually does this not mean that we have/are being compensated though?
It says that cases are being brought for poles and pylons that went up in the last 10 years. The ones on our land have been there since the early 70s
