A lovely tractor indeed.

Lots of coins were needed by the looks of things!
https://www.agriland.ie/farming-news/auction-report-53500-plus-vat-for-a-1996-case-ih-1455-xl/

Must Be a new record for a 1455 and an 8730....
i like my fords. i really do but out of every tractor i want my hands on is a case 1455xl with the new decals. decals dont make a difference but i find them better on post 95 1455xl's. just something about those tractors over any ford i like seems better. told the old man about the prices as well, he and my uncle in canada was drooling over the 8210 that made 12k and 8630. also with the square baler on page 3, surely that was a typo.

I didn't go . Against my better judgement., I was rooting at getting a bit of ground ready for a few spuds.

How did it go ?
What did the Case make , stuck in 4 wd ?

Everything sold all except the big overground molasses tank. I lost my pen so in not rightly sure on prices I think the 4wd case made 4500 and the 2wd one made 3500. I think the class made 53000.

Very good money for the 14x7 trailer I would have thought.

Was wondering about that 856 alright but looked like a tractor that needed tidying.

Any joy with the O'Neill feeder Peter? I think you were looking for similar.

I got it. Bidding was strong on it up until 3000 so I think it made its value anyway.

What was the rate of commission?
I bought a bit of furniture at an auction on Saturday 19.5% plus 23% vat, it works out at almost 24% on the hammer price.

What sort of value would ye of put on it? Or what would ye of went on it?
at most if he went, maybe 2500 incl. vat. for some reason or another, he is not vat registered so vat always has to be taken into account unless its cheap enough that we can do a cash sale
