Could you tell me where I would find one at this price ?

I have a similar welder for 6 yrs come September. Stopped working a month ago though. I think it’s only the switch , but if I had to pay much to get it fixed , buying new at that price would be a no brainer.
Has anyone any experience of either Sifweld, or Jasic inverters. Both have 5 yr warranties .

I'm selling it. But already sold.

I have a friend with a jasic inverter for a few years using it professionally and is very happy.

If it's only a switch gone in yours it should be very cheap to fix.

Easily tested too

Probably your switch jf. Mine fecked up a year or 2 ago. New switch and it's flying it since.

Thanks do.
Where did you face for ?
I got it in Bradshaws jf. Can't remember what it cost now. Wasn't to bad anyway or I wouldn't have bought it. Something I forgot to mention earlier is it might be worth wiring in a different cable first. My welder conked out last year and I thought it was bollixed but the brother got it and stuck in a new cable and off it went again. Actually now I think on it I think one side of the switch isn't used and you can change over the wires on it to get a 2nd life out of it iykwim?. Give the other suffering brother a call if you like, he'll explain it better. Tis him has the patience to be fiddling at these yokes

He was here for a few hours 2 weeks ago. I should have got him to open it up
I could manage Bradshaws. I bought mine in PER in Carlow at the ploughing.

Check rhe cooling fan
I think this is as far as I want to go, the repair guy ( who I bought it from anyway) can be delving further..
That’s the switch that jf might need

I m thinking that I will try either EPT , where I bought it , or Bradshaws , which is nearer but who I didn't realise sold them , to repair it. I tried it on a geny once and something blew init. EPT fixed it for €30 , but i had to leave it and goback for it another day.

Have the same welder a number of years. Took it out this evening to do a small bit of welding and it wouldn't turn on. Took the switch out to test that and all good there so put it back together and it switched on. I'm guessing the connections were needing better contact.

Nothing wrong with the welder. Turns out the socket I was plugging it into feeds the oil boiler and circulating pump. Only gets power when the time clock sets the boiler going. Rental house 🤦‍♂️
