The plough looks a bit small behind her alright, the one-pass on the other hand is fairly substantial!!!
He does seem to make a bit of a meal of it at the headlands alright, but maybe he was nervous with the camera about:001_smile:

First of the silage. The photographs were taken on the 24th of May but only got around to uploading them tonight.
More to come over the next few days as I got a few more working today. Several times today I heard a Big M working. I can hear it but can not find it. Its slowly driving me mad but I will get it.

Luckly sun burn is not an issue for me after today. A huge word of thanks to Murphy Contractors for their help today.

A huge word of thanks to both contractors.
Anyone know of a John Deere Self-Propelled silage outfit that would not mind if I took a few photographs of them in operation? Claas Jaguars seem to be in the majority around here.

Thorpe, Martin O Brien, from Ballclough, has a new JD 7480 out this this season. Never had a problem taking photos with them. Few JD machines operating around Coachford but maybe a bit far for you. Great photos-lovely light. Murphys have a lovely rig in fairness-caught them 2 weeks back- and a unique way of turning on the headland for the next swarth!

Cheers Flash. Have camera and car so willing to travel to get a few decent shots.
Murphys have a lovely rig and the rest gear is pritty good as well.

Been mad over the last few days at works so I am playing catch up again. Got these lads outside my front door the other evening when I got back from work.

More to come. I still have not got any John Deere outfits or any Krone Big M's, but I did spot a gem of a Krone Big X 650 but the light was no good at the time so no photos.

First decent night shots of the season, got eaten by flies whilst taking them.

Cheers Grass Hopper. I didnt know that Ronnie Lenihen had got new gear. Its not from the want of trying to spot gear this year, I have done more travelling than ever, including a trip to a panel beeter, its just that I have ot spotted any of the usual out fits this year or if I have I have had no camera or the light was so bad any photos would not have been worth while, like seeing George Ross kit the other night, no camera bar the phone plus the light was dire. It just gets a little annoying but good things come to those who wait :-)

A few from the weekend just gone. Got some great pictures and got covered with silage. More to come later on if I can a chance.

and when one comes along a second usually follows soon after. I finally got a John Deere forager in action this year. Worth the wait.
A huge word of thanks to McHugh & Murphy contractors for their help. More to come over the next few days as I upload them to Flickr and post them here.

Anyone notice the amount of crows around this year during silage harveting? There are every where around here this more than ever and are destroying good photographs.
