I’m still half deaf
Its been some year for photographing the harvest and sun burn
9 of those last 10 photos were all taken on the same day and all within a few minutes of each other
A few more form Harvest 2018
More from Harvest 2018 including Winter Beans, whole crop & some real into the dark stuff
That Cross chaser bin looks well behind the JD
One of those that looks very well together. It is one big piece of kit that make the JD6215R look small
Is that WOC's Cross chaser bin @thorpe ?
Its not WOC. It is PH's
Getting close to the end of Harvest 2018
Last of the photos from Harvest 2018. Its been a good one photography wise. A huge word of thanks to everyone I met along the way especially those members of the Forum I "gate crashed" as they we were working.
I am very nearly finished up loading the last of the high res shots to my Flickr page but I still have a few videos to go that will be added to my you tube account.
I have been busy since the harvest ended with Maize & Winter Tillage work plus some late silage, so expect a few photos of them in action as well. I have also been busy with a few other project so hopefully we will see the results of those in the not too distant future.
I have also been testing out a drone with the view of investing either late this year or early 2019 but this will very much depend on funding.
Thank you all once again and I may see you in a field somewhere with cameras in hand.
I managed to get all the maize crews I set out to get this year but for some reason I don't have a whole lot of photos of them work.
A little bit of Winter tillage work over the last few weeks
Love the picture of the T7. It just looks "busy on the land" , the lights going on and the lads got a lot to do,,, maybe the weathers going to break?? Maybe the "boss" is pressing hard with the drill??
A few plough and drill men in action from a few weeks back
Has the last guy got auto steer cause he hasn't got any discs on his markers????
I would be fairly sure he doesn't have auto steer on the tractor. Works on sight alone.
Thanks Big Vern. That photo is one of favourites of 2018. A smashing evening weather wise, warm, no breeze and the crew under no pressure what so ever. The T7 was working with the MF6490 in the first photo on the same farm. 2 very fine ploughmen with the ground ploughing up very nicely.
No I didn't think he had auto steer either, that must be hard work guessing all the time, each to their own I suppose.
I had the chance again this year to have the team from Castlecor Potatoes in from of the Nikon and what an impressive set up it is to be fair.
A huge word of thanks to all involved.
A few more plough and drill team in action
Been working on a little project with a few friends over the summer. A taste of what is to come (best viewed in full screen and in HD if you can). Any feed back would be very much appreciated as well.
Happy Christmas everyone and thank you one and all for your help throughout 2018. You all have been a great help over the years
That looks epic & a great choice of backing track
Looking forward to seeing more in 2019.
That track was a chance find on youtube to be fair. It kind of summed up the year for me.
Plenty more to come in 2019
Thorpe, thank you for that video, outstanding, and as already said epic piece of music, even me missus said oh that's a bit good,,,,
Thank you for your reply. It is very much appreciated. There was a fair amount of work gone into for and it was only 4 min long. We have better footage from the summer from both the ground and drone
