he had to buy an axle for it, and wheels along with a rear linkage.
Oh very nice, we had the same job years ago. An 885 or 995 db driving a blackcurrant harvester, so it does happen.
I can remember being at an ex Teagasc auction must be near 10 years ago now and there was a blackcurrent harvester there too based on a 995 - went for a song!
I wonder was that 885 an ex Standen Solobeet harvester? They were very popular at that job. In fact between Skimmer and I there is one with a 135 skid unit lying up for quite some time.

yes ,stayed at the Moorings at Bannavie monday night then Mallaig on the train on tuesday ,the Moorings is a great place to stay and eat ,food is first class ,not much in Mallaig but a nice place to spend a few hours
