That is one of my favourits sights in farming. It has just the right balance of ingredients... heavy metal, greenery, muck, nostalgia and a hint of hardshipView attachment 71649 Knocking the paint off....
A whole lot less hardship than it used to be, auto reset plough, reversible rail, one drive chain, no steel beet chains,no gearboxes, and about 1000 acres less wear and tare. The man doesn't know himself. That is one of my favourits sights in farming. It has just the right balance of ingredients... heavy metal, greenery, muck, nostalgia and a hint of hardship
Ye are getting a rough time of it.Bit wet round here. Luckily the home farm is about 3 miles away on higher ground but it's still like shite. No WW planted and it's debatable how much of the WB is going to survive. Been in near a month and only about 75% through.
Just a bit. There was more there after the rain 3 weeks ago but didn't get chance to go film it. That's probably the 3rd time this autumn that grounds been under water.Ye are getting a rough time of it.
No wonder there's water coming out of places not seen before then. Going to be a lot of poor (er) farmers after this autumn, not good times! We've had about 13 inches since middle of September.
This old lad must be some legend ,pity he is not a member here ,he would have some fair share of stories in him .Have we any one down that side of Kerry that knows of him https://twitter.com/Buailtin/status/1147041843131166721

When we were children we had to work down the mines and push skips like that full of coal up to the surface . After pushing up fifty skips you could have a slice of bread .was a cattle water trough for many years, what would it originally of been made for ?
