I don't hear as much about Britool or snap on nowadays.
Teng seems to have taken over

Snap on making a good comeback again i think, lots of boxes moving again, would have a few bits of it here,
Have a few bits of britool here but never hear much of it now,was nothing wrong with it.
Never took to teng, but another mechanic friend of mine tells me they've changed and as he described it,"they even got cheaper looking "

A man in the trade was telling me lately that teng have ran into a expensive outfit here at the moment. So the story goes the last man importing it flooded the market with the offers, sold it cheep and in bulk but in doing so left behind a considerable deficit when he pulled out. Now the company have risen the prices here to recoup the losses. Same man has shelves of teng stuff for sale.

He's set up with a factory in I think Taiwan and brought in a massive range of there tools. I think he said he brought in a quater of a mill worth in his first order and half that had to be paid when he ordered it. I bought a set of spanners of him ranging from 6mm to 30mm and 32mm and 34mm for €89 including. Nice to work with and good quality.
