Spray/Chemical Prices

Would it be a good idea to have a spray price tracker?

First off give me your best price for 5litres of cauldron

Think €140 here on account but would be hoping for a good bit off for 30 day payment.

Just looking at the prices being quoted over on TFF, some of the prices the guys there are quoting are nearly half the price of what i've been quoted. I'm wondering is it the same all over ireland?

for example Axial 5L price i got €705, uk price £363 (€430)

Adigor 10L my price €88, uk price £37.50 (€44.37)

There seems to be plenty of price discrimination over this side of the pond, but exchange rates also have to be taken into account. How are prices in the North?

A few prices here, all excluding VAT:

Harmony MAX 400g €79.25
Sumi Alpha 1L €19.75
Galaxy 5L €99.11
K2 5L €58.40
Gallileo 5L €177.16

Bontima 5L €106.43
Winger 2.5L €52.67
Axial 1L €99.29
Adigor 5L €28.36

Siltra 5L €185.05
Bravo 5l €30

The next lot are "list" prices, and there should be a good bit to come off the price come payment time!!! Again, excluding VAT:

Proline 5L €385
CCC 750 10L €24
Presite Max 280g €80
Stellox 5L €105

Ambush 1L €9.50
Ally Max SX 84g €74
Hurler 1L €18

Maybe the mods could make this thread a sticky, and change the title to something like Chemical prices!!!
Thanks:thumbup2:

I think there is going to be some serious negotiations about my prices, before the wheat gets dropped in;)

Couple of rough prices all inc VAT and on account so expecting a bit off.

I haven't seen the tins but did spray the last load tonight.

15l of Indigo Trace Elements - €50
5l of Diamant - €200

Anyone price fertilizer for Spring 2014 yet, heard a few figures but have not priced myself yet. Some say prices are rising but i think that is a bluff or what do you guys think?

Prices i have heard are 400 euro a ton for 10-10-20 and 275 euro a ton for can 27.5% cash delivered. Thinking of doing a bit of tyre kicking in the next week or two.

Had the rep over from Liffey Mills before the holidays and while I didn't bother with any fert the brother has bought most of his for next year. I want to do a few soil samples before I decide what to do on that front.

Friend of mine bought lorry load of 27.5% C.A.N week before Christmas, £216/ton sterling, payment end of Jan.

Thought I might put up some chemical prices, will be last years prices but would give an idea as to what I'm paying here in the north.

Axial 5lts- £390
Adigor 10lts- £45
Sempra 1ltr- £32
Liberator 5lts- £318
Helix 5lts- £185.40
Phoenix 10lts- £82.12
Mobius 3lts- £143.62
Rover 500 10lts- £39
Ally max sx 168gms- £72
Alert 1ltr- £25.80
Opte-man 200lts- £140
Hoedown/glyphosate 20lts- £49.50

That will maybe do for now and hope I'm not getting my leg pulled too much when it comes to the prices I'm paying.

I see you use Galaxy, would you know off-hand what rate it's applied at or cost per acre/hectare?
I've a problem here with Corn marigold and been told Galaxy will sort them out?

Thanks.

We used it at 0.85L/ha this year:thumbup:

I'm thinking I've maybe took this thread off topic a bit, my apologies.
I'll post under a new thread.

If you have resistant marigold use at 1.25 litres per ha to make sure, I've used it at .85 and it only did half a job-right mess.
