I was a bit late with the mildew spray earlier in the year, I hadn't realised Husky had failed so much on mildew resistance, it had done a lot of damage.

Not yet, will do them ASAP, it is 2nd on the list, but will probably end up being 3rd as I have a lot of spring barley T2 to do just booked in yesterday evening.Have you gone with the headspray yet gone? Mine are a good few days behind that and will be close to another week before that spray will go on.
Yours were sown early if I remember rightly as a friends are between yours and mine. They look Lovely and even.
- Medax Max and Ce Ce Ce doing the business one Isabel oats. Just as well because the crop is seriously heavy in places. Has it shortened by the most of a foot.View attachment 79193 View attachment 79191
Savage looking. Is that a seed crop? This is Isabel in Co. Waterford.
CCC at 1L followed by CCC 1L & Moddus 0.2L at GS32.
Great spring in it.
Isabels lush appearance can be a bit scary but it usually stiffens up well.

Oats always is slow heading out, you could grow old waiting for oats to head out.Slow about heading out here, looking at the forecast I was going to spray them tomorrow evening but will be holding fire for a few days yet.
Youd see every drain in it this evening!View attachment 79327 View attachment 79328 View attachment 79329 View attachment 79330

I think crops have realized that it is June but there is some lad down in Cork getting ready to cut Winter Barley and has the Journal Photographer booked for the 22nd to make that weeks edition.I think in general crops have slowed down with the change in weather.
It’s got much harder to make the front page since Paraquat was banned.I think crops have realized that it is June but there is some lad down in Cork getting ready to cut Winter Barley and has the Journal Photographer booked for the 22nd to make that weeks edition.
Very nice indeed. The Crown Rust resistance makes management easier.View attachment 79434 View attachment 79435 View attachment 79436 View attachment 79437
A crop of Isabelle I have, sprayed 30 days now and slow to ear out. The 2nd ccc moddus mix has it well slowed up. Looks decent considering the lack of rain and heat tho.
I was actually putting it down to me being a super operatorVery nice indeed. The Crown Rust resistance makes management easier.
Didn’t I mention that? Sorry, I’ll edit ....I was actually putting it down to me being a super operator

Just back from looking at this. Husky on very light land. It'll be no record breaker by any means and it's very short. Barely hip high but it's spotless and will get it's final spray in the next day or 3.View attachment 79614 View attachment 79615
Small mercies indeed. It's thinner then I like but whats there looks good and with the good drink it's after getting I'm hopeful it'll do ok.If it was barley that was there it might no be a foot high, so small mercies and all that.
