They give a good share of trouble going by the examples of those working locally to me. The Arions are actually a lovely tractor to drive as it so happens, had one on demo before changing last time around but didn't purchase. Hydraulics seem to be a common issue.

contractor who does my work had a 650 for five years , plenty of bother with it , went back to JD when the thing was paid for

maybe he was just unlucky but he minds stuff awful well

they dont seem any better or worse than anything else round here (unless theres a owners pact not to talk about problems)
residual values are the main reason here

it was rumored other makes were working hard to devalue them .
ours will do 7000 hours over 4 years , some have been bought as low houred second hand and run on longer
the jd engines gave head gasket problems teir 2 were good teir 3 was a disaster anything worked hard was looking for gead gasket at 3000hrs
the teir 4 on seem ok had an injector in 1 another 1 liked to regen the dpf 3 times a day till we took the power washer to it .
gear boxes generally been ok other than the odd solinoid and switchs . beveled washers in clutch packs had a tendancy to crack ,
jd would be having these engine issues plus they were having turbo problems as well . and mf would be having the same gearbox but both companies well establised where as claas kept on there dealers and a lot of the renault boys got the boot .

we did once have a ter 3 claas 640 cebis that i recon was put together by hungover apprentices using warranty returns

Why are Claas Tractors so cheap? Some of the Tumosan tractors are being advertised with better resale prices than these?
Compared to other makes of tractor of similar size, these are very good value.

Is there a pitfall?

What are those Celtics/Axos type tractors like? I know the more complicated versions don't have the best of a reputation transmission wise but vast majority have mechanical linkage controls.
