Even when working right it is a frustrating gearbox to useI wouldn't be a fan of the funk box either

I've never had the experience of operating one with that box. Were they rough or jumpy?.I wouldn't be a fan of the funk box either
as hot as a power command tm?Absolutely hopeless at road work they could get warm enough to melt the fuel tank.
genesis?I used to drive a nh with the funk gearbox,it was an absolute belting tractor,I just couldn’t ever own one though.
Bit of work needed on this 1 a bit over priced in my eyes though https://www.donedeal.ie/view/25473469

late ones were okThe 6100’s were supposed to be a ball too, the one series we skipped here over the year
genesis?
It must not have been that bad, It's sold already!
The purr of that engine alone.
at least theres a vast knowledge of them on here in the form of skimmerYes,great engine and gearbox control was excellent, there an old gearbox now and knowledge of them in my area would be zero.
Am I right in saying all the 6190's were good machines due to being a late addition to the range? All manual shuttle, no gear issues and updated brakes?late ones were ok
I think they were high enough to take 20.8's or 650's too.Am I right in saying all the 6190's were good machines due to being a late addition to the range? All manual shuttle, no gear issues and updated brakes?
See the new Massey 8s starts at 156 000 plus vat.
Youd buy 20 acres for it
Only a paltry 16 acres then..I say that’s retail price if u went to buy one I be expecting to pay 20 percent less, Masseys prices are hard to follow sometimes.
Would you predict a further 20 percent drop for a low houred 12 month old example.I say that’s retail price if u went to buy one I be expecting to pay 20 percent less, Masseys prices are hard to follow sometimes.

I don’t buy much new machinery. Is the idea with the retail price that it makes the buyer feel like they’ve negotiated a great deal. Or is it that when selling a s/h one the dealer can point to it costing a fraction of the price of a new one(retail price) or as having a good residual using the -20% price depending on the customer he’s selling to?
But it might last as long as you :rolleyes2:
