Cover Crops 3.0

Can’t remember if I asked this before or not but does anyone graze sheep on tillage raddish, one field I cannot subsoil due to badly placed water pipes 30 years ago could do with a bit of light compaction removal

In with the pig slurry again before the tillage radish

Done the same setup as @Blackwater boy today, one bag to the acre of 24-2.5-10 along with tillage radish, stubble turnip and rape, it’s a savage dry day here but ground is very wet since yesterday, rest of week is promissed even worse so I just said I’d throw it out to hell, hopefully it grows
I sowed some more cover crops and fodder rape in anothe field the same way last Friday abc never go it rolled but it will be fine with all the rain once slugs don’t take it

Rape, radish and turnips now sown 3 weeks with the fertiliser spreader that time, never got to roll it but looks okayish

That’s a massive crop @Bog Man , I planted mine on 11th August after Winter barley and it’s similar to Masseys photos above. I am surprised as growing conditions should be good, good heat and plenty(too fekin much) moisture.
