Jesus that’s ideal, the lad that had my combine has a set of duals for it I may investDrive it’s own wheels up on a plank first to give clearance to roll the duals into place.

Yes the lift pump has 4 bolts holding it on, doesn't really matter which engine is in it, I would be familiar with both, but it doesn't look like either, but then that can be just the combine variant looks a bit different anyway.
Thanks Nash, I have all the books belonging to the combine and looked it up after and it is indeed an A4.236 fI'm nearly sure that It's a 236 version in those, I may have a brochure here for one and will have a root around in the coming days to check.
Thank Bagenal but I got the 2 Lexion 7500TT in Clonmel today so I am sorted. Smashing gear and well able to cover groundThe 2 750's and the chasers will be in Cullahill and the other combine will be in Stradbally tomorrow if that's any use
It's big even for a rotary. I thought they were all electra spec
That's some serious gear, I don't know how they do it.To every member of the forum that assisted me in the last few days. Thank you it was great to see the new Lexions in the flesh. Impressive machines with serious output. Fairly tired now, as I was working nights the last few days as well but it was hugely worth it.

They do it allDo they do all the gluten free harvesting or are there other contractors covering different areas? I know Glanbia were looking for growers in north Leinster.
They'll have to leave a lot of it behind before they lose the contract I'd sayContractor would be doing their best to get tru the work but in a year like this would there be much oats left standing by the time they reached the furthest away crops?
Glanbia decide on the number of combines required and supply them for the contractor to operate. If crop is left behind it could be said that there wasn't enough combines supplied to complete the job. They'll have to leave a lot of it behind before they lose the contract I'd say
Bought my combine there sound guy.
The Americans call it a quonset hut.Spent five hours cleaning down the combine with the road compressor. Parked her in the Nissan hut which is a treasure trove of Armer and Sugar factory bric a brac . The owners father was a Politically appointed Director of Irish Sugar before it was privatised. The shed came out of Carlow factory.
