August hay

september 14th hay:cowboy:

helping a mate with small bales hay today.
Got the baler tractor stuck in a wet bit!!
To be fair his 2wd massey is on slick back wheels. He stopped to check baler settings and she just wouldn't get going again!
He has a 6 rotor tedder which we worked out had meant that he hadn't been over that spot with tractor wheels till today!!
Mows with a tractor on 600's, she must have floated over it!

More luck to ye lads that have the ba**s to go for it. Last time I made hay it was in 2015, cut on 29th of June and not baled till 4th August. I spent almost 5 weeks messing with it and it was still shite, never again.

Our hay for GLAS this year was cut on a Saturday and baled the following Wednesday. Took a punt and got away with it. It pi**ed rain the following morning.
Hay would wreck your head some years.
