Hi All

Trying to sort the electrics in a 8011. The Indicator switch was broken but now fixed. Could someone tell me what the silver box is next to the fuse box, (not the indicator relay)? It seems to have 12v going into it but mine looks as if it is missing some spade connectors. If I knew what it was I could order a new one

ZetorMan98 definitely.

I view electric as a form of witchcraft .

I think @headcase is on the money .
Their own alternator had a separate regular . Most replacements will have it built in , so regulator redundant .
Agrimax is a bit quicker

As the lads have already said, it’s the voltage regulator for the original alternators. If the alternator was changed it’s more than likely not doing anything as most modern ones will have it built in. I’ve never seen one connected in a crystal in my few years of pulling at them
