lads the 3 lever block for the post driver is leaking quite badly on the up and down lever for the weight..seems to be leaking around the lever itself, how would you fix that, would you have to dissemble the block or is it simpler than that?

Seal in the lever gone . Had to do one in the post driver here last week. Put up a pic of the valve block

Open the Allen key studs on the casings and you will see the pins with o rings on them - its these o rings that cause it to leak around the lever. I have had 100% success replacing some and poor enough success on others.

As mucky has said above . Open Allen key bolts on both sides of the leaking valve . O rings are held in by a washer which is held tight by the outer casing you’ve removed first . Most dealers will have a generic seal that should do the job .

The wrapper block dripped oil here about 10 years ago and I took it off and brought it to 2 different well respected hydraulic repair centres and both told me that they didn't repair them and didn't supply seals. One sold me a variety box of o rings and I chanced opening it up and replaced the leaking ones. They lasted 2 or 3 years and leaked again so I bought a full replacement block from a guy online who swore that it was perfect with no leaks. When I put it on, every spool leaked. I took it all apart and replaced the o rings in every spool and it has been working perfectly ever since. I'd say that the seasonal use of the wrapper means that the o rings dry out and is probably worse than an implement that's used every day.

Got o rings today but after opening now and they aren’t right of course. Would you only need a few?only see 1 at front and none at back
