They can't handle dry stuff at all

after mowing a 2nd cut from 2 of the paddocks. after autoswarthing it due to how light it is. be interesting to see the difference in the amount of bales compared to the 1st cut. had 66 bales out of the 4 acres on the 1st cut.

Lad that owns the lorries that lifts our milk says he would lift it with his jag no bother.he had a 7450 out for a wee while and left it back ..... didnt like dry grass but then some or what he would be lifting would be " multicut " and of course would have to get the " obligatory " wilt aswell

why the f*** are you lot wilting for 24+ hours?
picking grass today that i mowed last night and that will be on verge of too dry
Very simple answer, no drivers til evening time.....another pit lined up for tonight that was mowed by stig after he raked here yesterday evening..... not the farmers doing

Lush green grass.it was doing the same thing to a lesser extent over 2 weeks ago in 2nd cut belonging to one of the lads thats after buying the highest price land locally , almost 18 k / acre that was sold 10 days ago

Thats some pain in the hole in any weather never mind the temperatures we have at the moment, good shear bar and knives reset to maximum diameter and shorten the chop length, if the spiral floor has wear in it it won't help either, dry grass leaves a residue that kills grass flow.

Mouldy...... not if its properly rolled.....but we always follow @agripowers ideas,, 2 telehandlers on the pit.my manitou rolling and there 320 jcb putting up.
Roll and keep firm and exclude air...
All i do know for sure is its going to be a quare hot morning for covering a pit.
The contractor had a handling with his milking parlour yesterday.....he gone home to milk , a temperamental harvestor is mild, whats he's facing for next few days!!!

Had a 6850 which is basically a 7450. Blew the best, but when I came it could blow nothing. 2 wear plates behind the feed rollers, keeps the grass away from the sides of the drum. We blew all types of grass with her. When they are set up correctly they'll work.
