Covid 19

Threads looking quite like a "anti unvaccinated thread" of late.

Very tolerant alright of others own decision, moralising from some , comes to mind when vaccination is not yet mandatory in many countries.

If that's in relation to my post, as I understand it Novak knew the rules and choose not to follow them, if that's the case then tough.

It's no different to any of us getting caught speeding when you know the speed limit on that road is X.

Surely for the likes of him they could test for antibodies? Or does it actually make a difference anymore? We know vaccinated people can spread it the same as non vaccinated. So what difference does it actually make?

Well I got the booster last week. Drank a ton of beer Saturday night and woke up Sunday morning feeling great.
The day after the jab i was absolutely wrecked tired all day but a good nights sleep had me back to myself the next day.

Was talking to a neighbour yesterday he hot his booster the day before Christmas eve. Got moderna after getting 2 Pfizer. He was floored. A big swelling came on his underarm, he felt like he'd been hit by a bus. Lucky he was off work for Christmas . Took a week to recover

Got Moderna booster back in October after having got Pfizer for the other 2 shots. Next day legs were bit weak and not feeling right but that passed after few hours. Then from that night on for the next 6 days under arm and into armpit was shocking sore to touch. Ok now.

So why did they grant him an entry visa ?

I presume the visa he got is the same as any other case where you get a visa but you need to meet the requirements of that to gain entry at the border. So like everyone on the border control series they have a visa but they don't meet the requirements to activate that visa and get turned away. Regardless of anyone's covid opinion Australia were right to turn him away and their only mistake was not to do it again, I've been there 4 times and like it or not when you go to another country you need to abide by their rules or else stay at home if you don't want to.

The judge yesterday ruled in Djokovics favour and lashed immigration office

Spoke to woman the other day who's probably in her mid-late twentys, she's now having heart palpitations since having the booster. Understandable that she doesn't want anymore and quite frightening for a young person to be having that happen after being seemingly healthy.
Two lads near me, same age, both vaccinated, non boosted, one in hospital with a mini heart attack after catching Covid over Christmas, in the process of being transferred to Cork for specialised care. Other already below after suffering a mini stroke.

Both told they would have been in deep trouble if they hadn't been vaccinated. Both expected to make a full recovery, though slowly.

Are these elderly guys or young?

Moderna is the only booster available around here now, due to get mine this week as I was waiting for a quiet week in case of any ill side effects. Better get it than not though, also my covid cert will be out of date in February if I don’t get it.
